About LetRents
Property management built for how rentals actually run in Kenya.
LetRents is a property management platform for Kenyan landlords, agencies, and housing teams — from M-Pesa rent collection and tenant records to maintenance and reporting — designed around how property work happens here day to day.
Our Mission
Make rental operations clear, reliable, and easy to run — so Kenyan property businesses can grow without drowning in admin.
We exist so landlords know who has paid, tenants get receipts and responses without chasing anyone, and agencies stop stitching together spreadsheets, screenshots, and chat threads just to close the month.
Our Story
It started with a simple frustration.
In Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, and towns across Kenya, landlords and agents manage serious portfolios with tools that were never built for rentals. Rent arrives on M-Pesa. Confirmations live in SMS. Balances live in someone's head. Maintenance requests vanish in WhatsApp. Month-end becomes a reconciliation project instead of a report.
We built LetRents because that gap kept showing up in how Kenyan property businesses actually operate — not as a one-off inconvenience, but as the default. The work is local. The payments are local. The software should be too.
Today LetRents helps Kenyan teams collect rent, keep tenant and lease records straight, track maintenance, and see portfolio performance from one place — whether you manage a handful of units or a growing agency book.
What we build
One system for the work that keeps rentals moving.
Collections that match how tenants pay
M-Pesa, bank, cards, and other digital channels — recorded against the right tenant without statement hunts.
Operations that stay connected
Units, leases, messages, and maintenance live in one place so work does not disappear into WhatsApp threads.
Visibility owners can act on
Collections, arrears, occupancy, and reports that answer month-end questions without rebuilding Excel.
Our Vision
To become the operating system for rental property operations in Kenya.
We want every Kenyan landlord, agency, and housing team to run payments, people, communication, records, and decisions from one trusted platform — built for how property works here, not adapted from somewhere else.
